At Afterglow, we exclusively use two types of hard wax, including a hypoallergenic option. Hard wax does not use the paper strips, meaning there’s no sticky mess left behind and the wax itself only attaches to the hair itself, meaning it causes a lot less pain than traditional soft/honey wax.

Here’s what our three waxes include:

Bikini: Removes hair from the sides and top of the bikini line, it cleans up the hair where you would see it outside of a traditional bikini bottom.

Extended Bikini: Takes off a little more hair from the sides and lowers the top, where desired. Does not include backside.

Brazilian: Clears hair from the entire front area and backside. Option to keep a strip or triangle, if desired.

A Lash Lift is a gentle, semi-permanent curling method that locks lashes into a curled state for 6-8 weeks. We recommend pairing with a tint, which safely dyes your lashes darker. Together, a lash lift and tint gives your eyes a natural, almost mascara like finish.

Before coming in for a lash service, we ask that you come in with clean, makeup free eyes. If you wear contacts, you may want to consider taking them out for the procedure itself.

The only required aftercare is to avoid getting your lashes wet/steamed (like from showering) for 24 hours post appointment. After the 24 hours, there’s nothing else that’s required. We do recommend a lash serum like Revitalash to help support lash health and growth.

No! There is no downtime, and your eyes should feel great leaving your appointment.

While the rate of hair growth is different for everyone, we typically recommend waiting about 4-6 weeks between waxes, or at least until the hair is about as long as a grain of rice. If hair is extremely long, we recommend trimming it a bit before coming in to give yourself the best experience possible.
